Gift Certificates available for Private Art Lessons at the discounted price of $150 for 3 lessons of 1 hr 10min.  Certificates are also available for 1 or 2 lessons or more.

The certificate can be sent as hard copy or emailed to you as a file.  Payments can be done by PayPal.  The receiver of the gift can set up a time for a first lesson to suit his/her schedule.

Book a first lesson and get a discount.  Private lessons are normally $60, the discounted price is $50.  You don’t have to book more than one lesson to try it out. if you feel like continuing you can book lessons from time to time to suit your schedule.  You can also pay 6 lessons in advance and get a discounted fee.

A lot of people would like to take art lessons, but find themselves with precious little time in the week.  Eliminate time on transport and book a first lesson. Materials are provided, although if you already have art materials and tools we can use yours.  A list of necessary things will be provided.  You don’t have to have a real art studio space, a dedicated corner of a room is fine for setting up a small easel and start drawing or painting!

A one time consultation might be just the thing you need to get ahead with your art project without having to sign up for an entire course at your local art center. You can consult with an instructor in the comfort of your own home… or anywhere!

You are free to talk about anything you need help with on your painting or drawing. Some of the topics that can be covered are:  Motivational issues, materials, composition, support and stretchers, grounds, most technical issues, studio setup and supply recommendations. Affordable rates make this a great opportunity for professionals, students, and hobbyists alike!

Sessions can be as short as 20 min. and up to 90 min. You are welcome to contact us for more information before setting up a Skype session.

After much consideration and to alleviate confusion, we have decided to change our name from NYC-Art Lessons to Green Brick Studio. We find the new name to have more personality, it’s easier to remember and it doesn’t have a ‘dash’ in the domain name. The web address nyc-artlessons.com will still work for this site also.
